Software Europe achieves ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certification
Lincoln, England - May 17, 2010 - Software Europe, established in 1989, is proud to announce gaining certification for ISO/IEC 27001:2005 the International information security management system standard.

The independent verification of the management system brings the organisation's information security under explicit management control and judged against best industry practice.
In today’s security-conscious climate, it was recognised that for the company to continue to grow it would need to demonstrate its commitment to information security controls. Increasingly organisations want to know how safe the IT systems are at the businesses they work with, with many seeing certification to ISO/IEC 27001 as a prerequisite for suppliers. This is particularly important where the protection of information is critical, such as in the finance, health, public and IT sectors.
